This IC provides high efficiency audio power amplification by controlling (switching) the supply voltage supplied to the power devices according to the detected level of the input audio signal. Applications • Audio power amplifiers. Features • Pin-to-pin compatible outputs ranging from 80W to 180W. • Can be used to replace the STK415-100 series (2-channel models) and the class-AB series (2, 3-channel models) due to its pin compatibility. • Pure complementary construction by new Darlington power transistors • Output load impedance: RL = 8Ω to 4Ω supported • Using insulated metal substrate that features superlative heat dissipation characteristics that are among the highest in the industry.
